First of all, Venom is cute! I mean the symbiote is freaking cute when he is interacting with Eddie. He is like a pet cat or dog that lives inside you and eventually helps you. Back to the movie, I think the movie started slow and very long before it gets to the action. Having to watch many Marvel movies in the past, the pace of Venom is slow and almost boring. But when the action kicks in, then only the movie is fun to watch. The humor in this movie is very minimal and honestly, Tom Hardy doesn't appeal as a journalist and I don't know why.
I'll give this movie 3.5/5 because it is a fresh point of view for a fictional movie because just like the tagline, we have seen to many superheroes.
P/S: Hopefully the sequel will have more actions!
