We all know about wrap dress very well but have you heard about or seen a wrap shirt for men? If you love Japanese culture or some other Asian culture, you might be aware of this wrapping fashion. I know some might find it sensitive to associate a tradition or culture to a trend but it is something that is unavoidable and trends (especially art) do take inspiration from tradition and culture.
For me personally, a culture or a tradition itself is a symbol of art. So I don't find it offensive if inspirations are drawn based on culture or tradition but what bothers me is that when these arts piece are being capitalized without acknowledging the material sources.
