Fashion Tuesday: Balenciaga Winter 20

It was an apocalyptic fashion at the Balenciaga Fall/Winter 2020 fashion show in Paris and I must say that apocalypse will be a fashion season that I never knew I needed. I mean obviously these clothes are not for me because I'm poor and definitely not going to make it into the ship when the big waves are coming. But at least I know fashion still lives on during the disaster. Does that make sense?
Okay whatever! Now back to this collection, there are a few that I feel like I can wear it during Raya and those are also happen to be my favorite out of the bunch. Let's see my top 5 favorite looks from the show.
Coming in at number 5 is this sequin dress! Black is my color and you can never go wrong with black sequins. I know this is nothing innovative but look at the silhouette of this dress. It gives you power!
Number 4 is another dress but this dress is a hybrid of a dress and a jumpsuit. What I like about it is the fabric choice and also the design. This for me can be both a dress and a costume. I mean a superhero will look bad ass in this dress right? I love the full on gloves and the way this dress like reflecting the lights. I love it!
Okay at number 3 is my personal favorite that I will wear whenever I wanna go out. This is actually my go to style if I don't feel like getting ready. Just throw on an outerwear and calls it a day. This one seems a bit basic but it still have that class and Balenciaga flair to it. Love love love this look!
At number 2 is something I would wear during Raya. I feel like I still have time to recreate something like this. I'm a sucker for capes but I haven't had the chance to make something with cape because I don't have the coin to buy fabrics that look good as cape. Should I do something with a cape for Raya this year? Jubah with a cape? That's gonna take a lot of fabric!
Finally my number 1 look is actually something that I would wear to work or even hangout with my friends. I love the extra long sleeves and the cutting of this shirt is just so nice and structured. Definitely my style because I love a good symmetrical and strong cutting. I probably should make myself an extra long sleeves shirt for work and black is definitely the color to go to! That leather pants? I live! But I don't think it would appropriate to wear them in Malaysia unless you want to have poached eggs in your pants!
