A few weekends ago, I went on a mission to find my #METRaya2025 fabrics, and while scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon the news that Spotlight Malaysia was having a clearance sale due to their impending closure (so sad!). Unfortunately, not everything was on sale, and most fabrics remained at their original prices. But, I still managed to get what I needed! After that, Feyy and I decided to grab lunch at this delicious Ayam Penyet Perkasa near Pandan Indah.
And, of course, no meal is complete without dessert!
We made our way to Peaches and Cream at Ampwalk Mall, drawn in by their dessert trolley filled with tempting treats. We picked out three desserts: a meringue that resembled pavlova but with a twist, a rich chocolate tart, and a biscoff-based dessert that was an absolute dream.
Let me tell you—each of these desserts was so good that I was seriously tempted to try everything else on the trolley!
The Desserts
🍪 The Biscoff Delight
I forgot its exact name, but this dessert was like a tiramisu with an eggnog-like sauce, and oh my, it was heavenly. The combination of creamy, spiced flavors and the signature caramelized taste of Biscoff made it an unforgettable treat.
🍫 The Chocolate Tart
This was pure indulgence. The tart was incredibly dense, but in the best way possible. You could choose between sea salt or wild berries as a pairing—I went for the sea salt, and it was truly a match made in heaven. The saltiness perfectly balanced the richness of the chocolate, elevating the flavors to another level.
🍋 The Meringue
Now, I have to be honest—I’m not the biggest fan of passionfruit, and this dessert was loaded with passionfruit sauce and berries. While the meringue itself was light and crisp, the tartness of the passionfruit was a bit overwhelming for my taste. But if you love fruity and tangy flavors, this one might just be for you!
🥤 Ice Chocolate
A special shoutout to the ice chocolate! One of the best I’ve had—it wasn’t overly sweet like store-bought chocolate drinks, but also not too bitter. It had the perfect balance, making it a refreshing and satisfying drink to complement our desserts.
Final Thoughts
Peaches and Cream is definitely a cozy and welcoming spot, perfect for indulging in sweet treats. The desserts were top-tier, and I can’t wait to go back to try more from their trolley. If you’re a dessert lover, this place is a must-visit!
