Picking up mere seconds after the explosive finale of the 2019 cult hit, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come sees Samara Weaving return as the ultimate survivor, Grace. Just as she thinks her nightmare is over, she discovers the Le Domas family was only one piece of a much larger, deadlier puzzle. The sequel introduces "The Council"—six elite families worldwide who serve the demonic Mr. Le Bail. Grace is forced back into the fray, this time joined by her estranged sister, Faith, as they navigate a high-stakes power struggle within the world’s most dangerous secret society.

This is a incredibly well-made sequel. When the first movie ended, I honestly thought there was no way a follow-up would make sense—I kept wondering, "What could possibly be next?" I love that they expanded the Satanic cult from just one family to a full-scale organization led by six families around the globe.

The transition is seamless; the story starts immediately after Grace survives the Le Domas ritual, with the Council scrambling to find a successor. While the core storyline is relatively simple, the added family dynamics really level up the film. It’s not just about the bond between Grace and Faith, but also the infighting among the rival families clawing for power within the organization.

The first movie was already unhinged with its dark comedy, and this sequel carries that torch perfectly, even turning up the dial. It makes the whole experience so much fun to watch. The pacing is fast, pulling you into the turmoil from the opening scene right through to the end.

I loved every minute of it and am giving it a 9/10. The only reason it’s not a perfect 10 is that I felt a little lost on a few plot points—I might have missed a bit of the explanation regarding why certain characters died the way they did. Overall, it’s a fantastic, wild ride to watch with friends!
