There was a time when fashion was all about fun, color, and transparency, and nothing captured that better than the Candy & Jelly accessory craze. If you were around in the late 2000s and early 2010s, chances are you’ve seen (or owned) at least one Candy & Jelly piece.

The Jelly Bunny Era

In Malaysia, Jelly Bunny was the brand everyone flocked to. Their glossy, candy-colored shoes were lightweight, waterproof, and most importantly, super cute. Walking into a Jelly Bunny store felt like stepping into a rainbow, and girls (and some guys too) proudly rocked their see-through flats and sandals.

Furla’s Iconic Candy Bag

Then came Furla’s Candy Bag, which instantly became a fashion status symbol. Made entirely out of rubber, the bag had a sleek, glossy finish that looked both modern and playful. It was bold, it was loud, and it was the ultimate arm candy (pun intended).

The Jelly Belt & Beyond

But it wasn’t just shoes and bags. The Jelly Belt was another must-have, translucent, colorful, and perfect for adding a playful twist to any outfit. Pair it with denim shorts or dresses, and suddenly your look screamed summer fun.

Why Did We Love Candy & Jelly?

Cnady & Jelly accessories were a hit because they represented nostalgia and playfulness, bridging the gap between childhood toys and grown-up fashion. They were quirky, affordable (well, except Furla), and gave outfits a unique pop that other materials couldn’t.

Today, Jelly fashion has mostly faded into the archives, but its impact remains. With Y2K and nostalgic trends coming back, don’t be surprised if Jelly makes a comeback in a modern way.

So, here’s my question to you: Did you ever own a Candy & Jelly accessory, shoes, bags, or even a belt? And if yes, would you wear them again today?
