Throwback Thursday: Bola Tampar

Kalau aku cakap aku pernah wakil sekolah untuk bola tampar mesti ramai tak percaya. I don't know what's the stereotype that I'm giving out but yes some people find it hard to believe that I'm actually active masa sekolah. Bola tampar ni one of the few aktiviti sukan yang I actually took part lah. Sebab kita ni tak reti nak main bola sepak ke apa semua tu, so sukan yang I joined were bola tampar, merentas desa and badminton. The rest of the extracurricular activities yang I joined were spelling bee, pesta pantun, syarahan, tarian kebudayaan, traditional musical instruments, gubahan bunga, theater and etc.

I think some of my schoolmates pun won't remember that I've actually wakil sekolah untuk team bola tampar sekolah. I was selected during waktu riadah asrama, I was playing with the seniors masa tu and memandang I was quite petite back in the days, so they want someone yang bola tangkap bola rendah. Aku pun join je lah dah senior suruh kan and surprisingly I was able to tangkap all the smashes walaupun lengan merah-merah masa tu tapi rasa proud jugak lah. So some of the seniors yang main masa tu were in the school volleyball team, lepastu dorang bagitau cikgu yang in-charge untuk get me in the team and the rest was history. But I'm going to be honest lah kan, I'm not going to write here nak buat sedap cerita je. I was in the team as pemain simpanan but I got to play during the tournament sebab masa second half tu, one of the player tak tau kenapa tak boleh main and I gantikan tempat dia. Main tak lama pun and we won the first match. Tapi setakat tu je lah sebab the matches lepas tu kitorang kalah. Hahaha but it wasn't because of me sebab aku tak main pun the game except sekali tu je untuk ganti player. Dah tua-tua ni tiba macam rindu pula nak main bola tampar but not with the pros lah. Kita ni dah lama tak main so just nak seronok-seronok je. Kat mana eh nak main?
