Throwback Thursday: Usahawan Kecil?

Honestly, I feel like I've always ada minat untuk menjadi usahawan even when I was a little kid. Kalau nak diingatkan balik, I think I've started to "berniaga" when I was about 9 or 10 years old. Not sure if prior to that I dah pernah berniaga or not but my official jualan yang first sekali was "Ice Mony". Korang pernah dengar or ingat tak Ice Mony? Kalau tak ingat tengok gambar dekat bawah ni.

So masa ni I stayed dekat Astana Raja and my arwah ayah still kerja KL and selalu balik hujung minggu. Everytime dia balik dia akan beli something for me and one day dia bawa balik Ice Mony tu. Zaman kita budak-budak kan memang kita akan main dekat luar time petang kan? Jadinya masa berkumpul nak bermain tu, I ate one of the Ice Mony and my friends at the time semua tanya "apa tu?" then I bagi lah dorang rasa and I don't know how or why, I macam "korang nak ke? Satu 50 sen" and surprisingly most of them wanted it and I went back home and amik stocks and jual. Tak silap dalam plastik tu ada 6 ketul so I sold 4 dapat lah RM2. Time tu RM2 tu kira besarlah. After that successful trade, I pun pesan dekat my dad to buy more flavors and jadi lah my little business at the time.

Fast forward to whenever tah, I remembered that I was one of the few kids yang ada Playstation masa tu and I pun made money out of it by asking my friends to pay RM1 sejam kot untuk main PS tu. Lepas tu I don't where I got this one idea, I know I have a lot of toys especially from Happy Meal at the time, So I created this little "carnival" depan rumah and kids can win prizes (which was my Happy Meal toys) by playing "carnival" games at RM1 per game macam tu. I remembered ada corner untuk main baling selipar, lempar bola dekat botol, lucky draw and few others yang I forgot already. It was a hit eh masa tu, ramai juga yang datang nak main.

So dah tua-tua ni bila teringat balik masa tu, it was fun tau and I really had a good time buat business and growing up pun most of my siblings berniaga and even my parents pun pernah buka kedai Asam Pedas and I was the cashier (obviously). I pernah tolong my sister berniaga dekat Centre Point Kemaman jual boba tea before boba tea even a thing.

Now after working for 10 years, I feel like macam nak start venturing back into business but I don't know what business? Rasa macam nak jual baju and stuff but I feel like F&B lagi untung? I mean it's business lah kan, nak berjaya tu not in the first 3-5 years lah but at least we need to start somewhere kan? Honestly, I kinda like doing business. So should I?
