I don't really do much reading but when I do I read gossip threads on Twitter (Sad I know but that how life is for me). Plus, I'm more into reading other people than books because people is so much fun read. Mother Rupaul did said that reading is fundamental right? Okay jokes aside, I do read some novels even though I didn't quite finish the whole book but yeah I did read the synopsis and I can tell what happened in between. Since I appreciate visual more so I prefer to go watch a movie and below are my top 5 favorite yet again. Mind you I did read the novels that I'm listing below (half of it or sometime just the first chapter).

5) Vampire Academy
First I read this book because I love vampires but not twilight! So I need an alternative and I bought the whole series of Vampire Academy. I read the first book half way and I watched the movie later then I re-read the book again with better understanding because I can imagine how each of the characters look like. I know the rating for this movie is poor but I still think it is better than sparkly vampire. no?

4) Harry Potter
I never read the novels ever before I watched the movies but my friend keep on insisting me to read the novels because the movies didn't execute as much details as written in the novels. So I did read the novels and yes for me the novels have much more details but still I prefer to watch the movies. My brain is not helping me in visualizing spells. I need the movie to show me what is Expecto Petronum!

3) Wonder
I forgot who recommended me to read this book and I want to thank that person so much because finally a book that made me cried (other than my text books from school back in the days). Never in my life, when I read something that I can immediately visualize it in my head. This book did just that, maybe it is something that really happening and I've seen people with this condition so it is easier to visualize it. But the movie! I don't know why it is so underrated here in Malaysia? I was choking on my own tears, it was like my tears fell down my cheek and went straight into my mouth and I almost died of suffocation. I cried like crazy!

2) The Devil Wears Prada
Okay I admit that I watched the movie first before I found out that it was from a novel (this was the time I'm deciding whether to be or not to be a bookworm). This movie is hands down one of the movie you need to watch before you fell into a coma and die. The book just like Harry Potter (not the magic or wizard or whatever) it has so many details that weren't in the movie. This is my favorite fashion film!

1) LOTR
I tell you this, I can't even read the novel without imagining the seven dwarfs. That is why I really need to watch the movie first before I can read the novel. Because how in the hell would I know what Tree beard (that's the name of the walking tree in LOTR The Towers right?) looks like? For movies like Harry Potter and LOTR, I really need a visual aid so I can imagine what they're doing when they said something about Fordo or Smeagol. I can't imagine them out of think air or my Smeagol would look like one of my friend if I have visualize it myself. I for sure would visualize Legolas as myself.
P/S: Do you read or do you watch ?
