I haven't had a good laugh since many months ago because I didn't get to watch comedy movie at the cinema for a very long time. The last movie was Bad Mom Christmas? I'm not sure. So last week I got the chance to watch Game Night staring Jason Bateman and Rachel Mcadams. This movie is genius and if you enjoy watching Horrible Bosses, you'll definitely enjoy watching Game Night.
Game Night tells the story about a competitive couple Max (Jason) and Annie (Rachel) who always held a Game Night at their place with some of their close friends. One day Max's brother decided to host a game night at his place by hiring professional mystery solving game company. The game plan was Max and his friends need to rescue his brother from kidnappers. But coincidentally, a real kidnapper had intruded their game night and kidnapped Max's brother for real.
As all of them think it was part of the game, they all tried to solve the mystery and rescue Max's brother. The things that happened in between the movie was both funny and intense. Just like Max's and his friends, you'll also get confused whether they're really playing game or it is really happening.
The storyline is genious and i give this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars. Definitely worth to watch!
P/S: I want a game night!
