Despite the scorching hot blazing weather in Malaysia, it doesn't stop fashionistas in Kuala Lumpur to don this sleek formal attire worn by gentlemen all over Europe and America. As ridiculous it might look for people to be wearing such garments in Malaysia. The fashion trend had garnered it's own followings with pioneer like Wak Doyok.
The style itself is very classy and as what they call it Dapper will make those who are rocking the style looking sharp and expensive. Mostly associate with high class male but as fashion grows and the access to cheaper fashion alternative has made this style more common. Because of that, a sudden surged of formal men attire boutique made their way to KL. Brands such as Sacoor Brothers and Boggi were a big hit during that time. All other major retail brand also took this chance to put their formal attire up front.
I was one of the people who had my share in this trend when I bought almost a dozen of blazers just to go with my everyday look. Well that's fashion, one day you're in, the next day you're out. But I honestly think that if the weather in Malaysia is not as hot, people would still be rocking this style because as I said earlier, it really make someone look more classy, professional and expensive.
