Okay the second premiere is here and let’s talk about the elephant in the room, Miss Sherry Pie! Woah this season is really something huh? Sherry got disqualified after the allegation of her being a sexual predator surfaced. Not just that but a few other controversies that include two other girls from the second premiere, Dahlia and Aiden. Both of these queens were said to be transphobic for voicing out their opinions on whether or not a woman or a trans woman should be able to join RuPaul’s Drag Race in which both of them disagree upon.
Enough about the controversies, I’m going to straight away say that the second premiere was not as good as the first one. I feel like the girls from the first premiere had more interesting personalities and in the word of Nicky Doll “Same, Same, Same, Camp, Camp”. The main challenge for the second premiere was also kinda boring and I feel like Jan really did a good job and Sherry too. But Jaida is killing that Lip-sync!
So far, I don’t really have any favorite for the second premiere other than Jan but we’ll see over time. What do you guys think about the second premiere? Did you guys enjoy it? Who are your favorites so far?
