Welcome to the Merge!

The queens are merged and recharged, baby! The Top 9 Semi-Finalists from all three brackets strutted onto the mainstage this week looking like completely new people. Let’s just say the cash tips were clearly spent on face, body, and a little bit of Ozempic excellence. 👀

Ginger Minj and Mistress Isabelle Brooks in particular? Snatched to the gods. They didn’t walk into the merge, they floated in.

And without skipping a beat, Mama Ru announced the maxi challenge: Snatch Game, Classic Edition. No dating setup, no nonsense, just old-school improv mayhem.

Snatch Game Cast Breakdown

The queens pulled out a surprising set of characters, some familiar, some obscure, and some downright bizarre. But you know what? It worked (for some).

Here’s who each queen brought:

  • Bosco – Kenny Kerr

  • Jorgeous – Pitbull

  • Daya Betty – Jane Lynch

  • Cynthia Lee Fontaine – Count Dracula

  • Irene The Alien – Zsa Zsa Gabor

  • Aja – Cookie Tookie

  • Lydia B. Kollins – Pete Burns

  • Ginger Minj – Reba McEntire

  • Mistress Isabelle Brooks – Natalie Nunn

Let’s talk tea:

  • Ginger served up a solid Reba (again), and let’s be real — she’s a Snatch Game machine.

  • Mistress had the Natalie Nunn look and energy, but the angry-one-note bit wore thin fast.

  • Aja took a risk with Cookie Tookie — some moments landed, some were choppy.

  • Lydia was weird, brilliant, and under-edited (again!).

Cynthia... was giving Lexi from Season 17, but sadly didn’t get the same “so-bad-it’s-good” praise.

Runway: Tear Me A Suit

Now this? Was conceptual couture. The queens had to walk the runway in a suit look that tears away into a second, sickening transformation, a clever play on the word “Tiramisu” (and yes, chef’s kiss to that pun).

Top 3 runway moments for me:

  • Jorgeous – From He-Devil to She-Devil? Iconic.

  • Irene The Alien – A full-on sci-fi business executive-to-alien fantasy. Wild.

  • Lydia – Brought a gender-bending, glam rock moment with polish and precision.

Aja had a solid concept, but her reveal was a bit… tangled.

Challenge Results: A Herstory Moment

Drumroll, please! The winner of the week is…

GINGER MINJ, making Drag Race herstory as the first queen to win three Snatch Games across franchises.

Honestly, we saw this coming the moment she walked in. But let’s not pretend she didn’t earn it.

Meanwhile… in Drag Race Canon Confusion

Oh, and while all this was going on, did RuPaul just casually crowned Raven as the winner of Season 2 right after the Snatch Game?

No explanation. No lead-up. Just:

“Condragulations Raven, you are the winner.”

Umm??

Are we rewriting Drag Race history now? Is Tyra Sanchez officially de-crowned? Was this a fever dream or a Drag Mandela Effect?

The queens looked as confused as we did, but no one said a thing. Classic Ru.

Final 8 Queens Standing

With Cynthia gone, we now have our Top 8 Semi-Finalists:

  1. Ginger Minj

  2. Mistress Isabelle Brooks

  3. Bosco

  4. Aja

  5. Jorgeous

  6. Lydia B. Kollins

  7. Daya Betty

  8. Irene The Alien

Next Week: Talent Show Madness

According to the teaser, next week’s challenge is the All Stars classic, the Talent Show and mama, it looks spicy. We’re talking splits, kicks, stage dives, and possibly another shocking elimination.

So… are we just watching the Ginger Minj Coronation Tour at this point? Or will someone finally shake the narrative? Let’s be honest, if anyone can disrupt that arc, it’s probably Jorgeous or Bosco.
