Is it a thing or we are just trying to make the impossible happen? Sebab kalau ikutkan during the 90's, our pop industry was like at the peak tau. Kita ada KRU, Elite, and singers like Siti Nurhaliza, Erra Fazira, Ziana Zain and ramai lagi lah yang memang berkualiti and original.
Nowadays I feel like most penyanyi yang masuk the industry adalah carbon copy of what we used to have or even worse, the carbon copy of other international celebrities. So that makes me wonder, how come we never heard of the term M-Pop back then when our entertainment industry memang dipenuhi dengan original artists? Why is after the K-Pop waves, then tiba-tiba everyone wants to be a pop star?
Bukan nak menidakkan someone's dream or passion but if you ain't got the talent, the originality, girl I suggest you just sing in the bathroom. I tak nak mention mana-mana up and coming artist yang try to make it in the industry but please don't make a fool out of yourself just to be famous. Please don't make our entertainment industry ni as a playground for you to play around and stop when you are tired.
Because ada orang yang lain lebih berbakat should be front and center to represent Malaysia di tahap yang lebih tinggi. So the next time you want to mention M-Pop, make sure it is worthy.
