Fresh Off an Elimination… and Straight Into the Fire

The queens walked back into the werkroom still processing Mandy Mango’s exit, and immediately the energy shifted. Mia and Briar went head-to-head, calling each other out almost the second they sat down.

Apparently, Mia touched on a topic Briar wasn’t comfortable discussing. Mia did apologise — genuinely, from what we saw — but Briar didn’t respond. That’s when things got messy. Mia pointed out how sensitive Briar is about her own personal space, yet when Briar invaded Athena’s personal space, it suddenly wasn’t an issue?

Then Athena jumped in, Juicy’s name got dragged into it, and suddenly we were juggling multiple storylines at once. A LOT to process, especially when emotions were already high post-elimination.

Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed. The queens talked it out, made up, and decided to move on — which honestly felt refreshing instead of letting the drama drag for five episodes.

Maxi Challenge: Red Carpet Mashups (A Personal Favourite)

This week’s maxi challenge? One of my all-time favourite design challenges. The queens were asked to pair up with their besties and create a look inspired by two iconic red carpet moments mashed into one.

Fashion lovers, this was our episode.

Here are the pairings and inspirations:

• Juicy Love Dion & Briar Blush — Lil Nas X & Rihanna

• Discord Addams & Jane Don’t — Cher & Sarah Paulson

• Ciara Myst & Kenya Pleaser — Lady Gaga & Britney Spears x Justin Timberlake

• Myki Meeks & Nini Coco — Jennifer Lopez & Nicki Minaj

• Mia Star & Vita VonTesse Star — Katy Perry & Lil’ Kim

• Darlene Mitchell & Athena Dion — Kim Kardashian & Zendaya

Just when everyone thought it would be a wholesome bestie moment, Ru dropped the twist:

👉 You’re not competing as a pair.

👉 You’re competing against your bestie.

👉 Ru would decide “Who wore it best.”

Cue jaws on the floor.

Especially Myki and Mia, who suddenly realised they were up against the two designers of the season — Nini and Vita. The pressure was pressuring.

Guest Judge: Law Roach

This week’s guest judge was Law Roach, and honestly? Perfect casting. If anyone understands red carpet storytelling, it’s the Image Architect himself.

But then… things took a turn.

During critiques, Briar fainted. And the werkroom (and fandom) immediately split into two camps:

• Was it genuine?

• Or was it… performative, especially after Law clocked her look?

The side-eyes were loud.

Bottoms & Lip Sync

The Bottom 3 were:

• Briar Blush

• Discord Addams

• Kenya Pleaser

Ultimately, Kenya Pleaser and Briar Blush had to lip sync for their lives.

The lip sync was… cute. Nothing earth-shattering, but Kenya absolutely ate and clearly wanted it more. Kenya was declared safe, and Briar Blush became the third queen to sashay away.

Looking Ahead: Rate-A-Queen Talent Show

Next week, we’re getting the Rate-A-Queen talent show, split across two episodes, just like last season:

Each episode will crown a Top 2 lip-syncing for the win

The bottom queens from both episodes will lip sync in Part 2

And can we talk about Zara Larsson as the guest judge? From the preview alone — she’s beat, she’s in drag, she understood the assignment.
