RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18 Episode 6 gives us Rate-A-Queen Talent Show Part 2, where the remaining queens finally get their moment on stage — while being judged, rated, and quietly sabotaged by the queens who already performed last week. Nothing like Drag Race democracy to expose everyone’s true intentions.
Talent Show Performers (Part 2)
Here’s what the second half of the cast brought to the stage:
Myki Meeks — Bride of Frankenstein Striptease
Athena Dion — Greek-inspired routine
Jane Don’t — Burlesque
Kenya Pleaser — Lip syncing to an original song
Discord Addams — Punk rock performance
A very mixed bag of concepts, aesthetics, and… execution.
Runway Theme: Shake Shake Shake
Before we even talk about the talent show chaos, let’s address the runway — because this week, the looks were honestly stronger than the performances.
The theme was Shake Shake Shake, meaning the garment had to move when the queen moved. And some queens absolutely understood the assignment.
My Top 3 Runway Looks:
Nini Coco
At this point, I’m ready to crown her the look queen of the season. Creative, unexpected, and dynamic — she knows how to make fashion move.
Jane Don’t
The colour palette alone had me sold. Jane looked beautiful, polished, and confident. It was soft but still impactful.
Darlene Mitchell
Simple? Yes. But Darlene has the body to sell a streamlined look, and she carried it effortlessly.
Talent Show Results: Strategy Over Talent
Now, back to the talent show.
If we’re talking purely performance-wise, my Top 2 would’ve been Myki Meeks and Jane Don’t. Both had clear concepts, commitment, and stage presence.
But this is Rate-A-Queen, not America’s Got Talent.
With alliances very much in play, the queens decided that:
Top 2 of the week: Athena Dion & Jane Don’t
Bottom queens: Myki Meeks & Ciara Myst
And honestly? It should’ve been Kenya Pleaser.
Girl didn’t even remember the words to her own song. And if you don’t know the lyrics… how are we supposed to?
Lip Sync for the Win
The Top 2 lip synced to “Jerkin” by guest judge Amy Taylor, and let me say this — Athena Dion ATE.
I did not expect that from her. She always gave me pageant mom energy — very polished, very “I don’t want to look stupid.” But she fully let go, turned it out, and won the lip sync.
Which means:
✨ Every member of the House of Dion now has at least one win.
Now that’s a Drag Race legacy in the making.
Lip Sync for Your Life
The bottom two lip synced to Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”
Yes, it’s been used before (Season 4), but Ru later revealed it was an homage to Jiggly Caliente, which made the choice make sense.
Now… about that lip sync.
Ciara Myst was giving the most aggressively white girl dancing energy I’ve seen on that mainstage. No rhythm, stiff movement — honestly as rigid as Discord’s catwalk.
With that, Myki Meeks won the lip sync and stayed. Ciara Myst sashayed away.
Updates!
Next week, the queens face a Political Ads challenge, which usually only shows up during election years — so yes, I’m very curious (and slightly scared) to see how that plays out.
And yes… my Top 4 has changed again.
Mia Starr is officially out of the roster — I’m sorry, but the runway package just isn’t there. And returning to her rightful place?
My Top 4 After Episode 6
Juicy Love Dion
Nini Coco
Jane Don’t
Myki Meeks
Myki fought her way back, and I respect that.
Now tell me —
👀 Did the alliances ruin the talent show for you?
👑 And who’s in your Top 4 after Episode 6?
