The Reign of Myki Meeks: A Recap of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18

The confetti has settled, the heels are tucked away, and a new legend has been etched into the Hall of Fame. On April 17, 2026, Myki Meeks was officially crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 18, taking home the $200,000 grand prize and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.

From the moment the doors opened on January 2nd, Season 18 delivered a masterclass in charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. Here is everything you need to know about this historic season.

The Rise of a Superstar: Myki Meeks

Myki Meeks entered the workroom with a clear vision and left with a crown. Winning four main challenges throughout the season, Myki proved to be a versatile powerhouse. Whether it was her spot-on impersonation of Drew Barrymore during the Snatch Game of Love—which earned her a real-life invite to The Drew Barrymore Show—or her high-fashion runway looks, Myki was the one to beat.

In a nail-biting finale, she faced off against the "Queen of Hearts," Nini Coco, in a lip-sync for the crown to "Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved." While Nini’s "purse puppet" performance was a season highlight, Myki’s precision and star power ultimately secured her the win.

Final Standings & Award Winners

Winner: Myki Meeks

Runner-Up: Nini Coco

Third Place: Darlene Mitchell

Miss Congeniality: Jane Don't (a fan and cast favorite for her supportive spirit)

Queen of SDADHH: Juicy Love Dion (taking home a cool $50,000 after winning the RuPaul-A-Paruza Smackdown)

Iconic Moments and Guest Stars

Season 18 pushed the boundaries of drag excellence. We saw new challenge formats like "Drag in a Bag" and a heartfelt "Toast to Alyssa Edwards." The judging panel, featuring staples like Michelle Visage and Ts Madison, was joined by guest icon Miley Cyrus, who was honored with the "Giving Us Lifetime Achievement Award."

From DD Fuego’s early exit to Juicy Love Dion’s incredible redemption arc in the Smackdown, Season 18 will be remembered as one of the most competitive and entertaining chapters in Drag Race history.
