AAAHH MEN!, previously titled Amen, is one of those tracks that instantly grabs your attention. Released on September 26, 2025, as the third track from Doja Cat’s fifth studio album Vie, the song is a perfect example of her ability to mix humor, self-awareness, and bold commentary into pure sonic gold.
What really pulled me in, though, was the sample of the Knight Rider theme song from the 1982 TV series composed by Stu Phillips. The moment I heard that familiar synth-driven intro, I was hooked. It immediately landed a spot on my workout playlist based on the intro alone. There’s something about that nostalgic beat paired with Doja’s confident delivery that hits.
Lyrically, AAAHH MEN! is packed with Doja Cat’s signature wit and unapologetic exploration of romance and desire. She calls out the absurdities of modern relationships while embracing her own contradictions, a playful yet brutally honest approach. Lines like “Am I gay or am I just angry?” show her knack for turning self-reflection into punchy, meme-worthy lyrics. It’s cheeky, it’s clever, and somehow manages to be both deeply personal and universally relatable.
This track easily sits in my top three from Vie, and honestly, that Knight Rider sample just seals the deal.
