Korang perasan tak? Every time Ramadan nak habis, ada satu classic song yang kalau keluar je kat radio atau Spotify, terus rasa mood raya tu membuak-buak.

Yup, I’m talking about "Bila Takbir Bergema" by Datin Rafeah Buang. For me, lagu ni bukan sekadar lagu raya biasa. It’s like a time machine yang bawak kita balik ke zaman-zaman paling best dalam hidup kita.

The Nostalgia is Real!

Bila dengar je intro lagu ni, I terus teringat zaman I kecil-kecil dulu. Masa tu, bising dia jangan cakaplah! The chaos kat dapur dengan Mak, bau rendang yang tengah mereneh, and me with my siblings sibuk tolong (read: menyempit) kat dapur.

Most of all, I rindu gila saat-saat bersiap pagi raya dengan Arwah Ayah. I still remember the smell of his perfume, the way he kejut kitorang bangun Subuh, and the moment kitorang beratur nak salam minta ampun. Those were the days... Pure happiness.

Adulting: When Everything Changes

Now that we're all grown up, reality hits hard. Everyone has their own lives, their own families. Ada yang balik rumah in-laws, ada yang kena work, so kitorang dah beraya asing-asing. Tak ada lagi suasana "semua ada under one roof" macam dulu.

Sometimes, rasa sayu tu memang ada. Looking at the empty chair where Arwah Ayah used to sit... it hurts a bit. Rindu gila nak bising-bising dengan adik-beradik depan TV sambil makan biskut raya sampai habis sebalang. Those moments are gone, but the memories stay.

Cherish Every Moment

Lagu ni really makes me realize that time flies so fast. Even though we can’t go back to the past, kitorang still have the present.

So, this year, bila takbir bergema nanti, I nak appreciate setiap saat yang ada. Peluk Mak kuat-kuat, video call siblings yang jauh, and of course, jangan lupa selitkan doa buat Arwah Ayah.
