Song Of The Week: Don't Chart - Cardi B
Cardi B's "Dont Chart" Review: Why Nobody Talks Shit Like Cardi
When Cardi B steps onto a track with full, unapologetic swagger, you already know it’s an instant banger. Her new release, "Dont Chart" for the upcoming GTA VI soundtrack delivers that exact high-octane, shit-talking energy that made us fall in love with her in the first place.
As I’ve said so many times before: there is nothing better in hip-hop than a female rapper who knows she’s all that and isn't afraid to rub it in everyone's faces.
Pure Flexing: Charts, Fashion, and Zero Regrets
Lyrically, "Dont Chart" keeps things simple, direct, and completely lethal. Cardi isn't overcomplicating the formula here; she’s addressing the noise head-on, reminding everyone that when it comes to billboard success, sales, and high-fashion dominance, nobody is messing with her level.
She knows her presence alone gets people pressed online, so why not lean into it and have a blast? Lines about her chart supremacy and fashion credentials hit with that signature Bardi punch, turned up with just enough petty humor to make it an irresistible anthem. It’s loud, flex-heavy, and intentionally provocative.
Built for the GTA VI Radio Station
Tying this energy into the world of Grand Theft Auto VI is pure marketing genius. The track has that distinct, fast-paced drive that makes you want to hit the gas pedal.
Picture this: cruising through Leonida at high speed, running red lights, and blasting Cardi talk her talk through the in-game car speakers. It’s the ultimate "hype me up" track, whether you’re gaming, hitting the gym, or just needing an extra boost of confidence on a Monday morning.
Will It Chart?
Cardi B proved once again that nobody does confidence and unapologetic banter quite like her. "Dont Chart" is simple, fun, and infectious, a total anthem for anyone who likes their music loud, petty, and packed with attitude.
