Tuesday Tea: Canada's Drag Race Season 6

Can you believe we’re already getting Canada’s Drag Race Season 6? Time really flies when you’re lip-syncing for your life!

Honestly, out of all the Drag Race franchises, I think Canada consistently has one of the best casts. From Season 1 up until now, it’s been chef’s kiss perfection. When it comes to diversity, Canada just gets it right. You see a true mix of drag styles, backgrounds, and personalities that really represent what drag is all about.

And while some franchises can feel a little predictable (you know which ones), Canada’s Drag Race always keeps us guessing. Each season feels like a fair shot for every queen, at least until the final few episodes. It’s that sense of unpredictability that makes it such a joy to watch.

This time, I’m extra excited because for the first time ever, a drag king is competing! Talk about breaking boundaries and bringing more representation to the franchise. I love seeing the art of drag expanding beyond the traditional norms, it’s what keeps the show fresh and evolving.

As for my early faves based on the introductions? My top three are Sami Landri, Eboni Labelle, and PM. They all have something unique, and I can’t wait to see how they perform once the competition starts heating up.
