Condragulations to Brigiding for becoming the first-ever Slaysian Royale Queen! What a ride this season has been full of fierce runways, emotional moments, and a touch (or maybe a splash) of drama.
I have to say though, as exciting as it was, the favoritism this season was quite obvious. I get that this is sort of the Drag Race Philippines vs The World version, but it did feel like the Filipino queens had the upper hand from the start.
At first, I thought the production was gunning for Khianna to snatch the crown. Then halfway through, I felt like maybe they were setting things up for Arizona, especially since fans were rooting for her redemption. But then Vinas stepped in with her stunning runway looks, and I thought, okay, this could be hers.
But what really surprised me was Brigiding’s consistent rise. Once she started winning challenge after challenge, it was clear that the crown was hers. And honestly, as the first queen to ever hold the title of Slaysian Royale, it feels right. She delivered great performances and proved her growth since her original season.
That said, I can’t help but feel that Suki Doll also deserved more recognition. She did so well throughout the competition, and yet… no win? It was a bit odd. Hopefully, future seasons will balance that out a little better.
Still, one thing’s for sure, Asian queens did not come to play!
Condragulations again, Brigiding! You made history, and we’re all living for it. 👑✨
