I think I'm ready to put the cherry on top of this month! I mean it has been a smooth sailing since June and the streak has not been broken yet and I hope that will be the case throughout the remaining 2020. Other than being in crazy in love with someone, I'm also now being crazy in love with the idea that I will be starting a new job in August. A job that I really love doing! I'm really looking forward to that.
Now let's dive in into what happened last week.
Sunday (12th July 2020)
I don't usually go out on Sunday this year because first I don't really have time and second because of the pandemic. But since it is my birthday month still and I'm only available on the weekend, so I went out with Mama Fatin for a lunch and also tea. We went to our favorite spot in Avenue K for lunch. Yes that Rm15 bento that'll keep you full until the next meal. Which for me around 3 hours before we went for our tea time at Kenny hills. We ate a lot today and yes I can it was a productive day for us both.
Monday (13th July 2020)
Working from is never fun and I really am having a hard time doing it because I'm not much of a person who likes to go over the same thing one too many time. Especially it is something I'm not into. So doing editing for drama subtitle is definitely my cup of tea but one have to earn money for living right? I'm going to do that for now and I'm so sorry to all my senior editors who needs to finalized my files.
Tuesday (14th July 2020)
Pretty much the same thing as Monday and yes my weekdays can be very dry but I'm so thankful for my crazy housemate that I can actually have a decent interaction and have good laugh to forget about how stressful life can be sometimes. I'm also trying to catch up on my blog as much as I can because as you all know, it took me the whole day to actually finished 3 hours worth of series. Where's my life right?
Wednesday (15th July 2020)
I tried to finish my work as fast as I could so I could live my life as a normal person but one can only dream. As much as I tired to do things quickly, I just can't help the fact that I might be screwing up the person next in line if I did a terrible editing. Well if it's still terrible, it means that I'm really bad at what I'm doing. Editing subtitle is not as easy as I thought it would be. You always got to pay attention the situation in the series to get the right context.
Thursday (16th July 2020)
The best day of the week because I got my dinner date today and we went for so singgang in kampung baru I think, I don't really know the name of that area but whatever. My housemate asked me for a take out and I didn't know 'Ikan Bawal' was that damn expensive. A 'bawal' that cost RM30 while a meal for two that I ordered only cost me RM37. Like wth right? But it's okay because it was a lovely for me.
Friday (17th July 2020)
Again, I'm trying to finish my work as early as I can and I feel like I finally got the hang of this new series. I mean that's the problem when you're working with different series in a short span of time. As you're trying to familiarize yourself with how the series is going then it finishes and you need to start working on another series with a different genre. I'm was a the edge with one of the series that have 1000 lines and now I'm working on a series with less than 400 lines. Oh my head!
Saturday (18th July 2020)
I would to congratulate someone who I met last year for a project that I've been wanting to work on since I learn how to love fashion like 15 years ago. If you don't already know, I'm working with Tengku Kery, the owner of a local men's apparel brand called Tuan. Congratulations on your soft launch for Tuan physical store in SS2 PJ. Well if you all want to drop by, just waze for Anagen hair saloon. I'm so happy and honored to be apart of this team and I was there the whole day for the launch and I already have a lot of ideas on what to bring to the brand. Now that Tuan has a physical store, I'm hoping to create more RTW stuff for you all to wear. I'm so excited for this project! Thank you and congratulations again Kery on your physical store launch!
So that how my week went down and as I said, I'm looking forward for more exciting future and I hope I can do the things that I love moving forward.
