Ya saya sekolah cina sampai darjah 3 je and after that we moved back to Negeri Sembilan. Standard 4 onwards saya bersekolah di Sekolah Kebangsaan Astana Raja. I'm so proud to be a part of this school sebab this school ada team Choral Speaking and Group Singing paling gempak in Rembau or Negeri Sembilan I might say. I mean our school slayed every choral speaking and group singing competition! Tanya saja sekolah-sekolah rendah dekat Rembau circa 2001-2003, sekolah mana yang selalu tapau choral speaking and group singing? of course SKAR! Plus we came in 2nd masa peringkat negeri only to lose at SK Puteri, one of the elite school dalam Negeri Sembilan. Rindu betul zaman-zaman tu and kalau boleh lah nak balik ke masa lampau, I'll choose my sekolah rendah punya time.
Kenapa saya boleh terlibat dalam competition diatas? sebab Teacher Alyah or Aliah (macam mana tah eja) suka bagi semangat and she believed in me. She said that I have the potential to be a good speaker and someday people might be listening to me talking and indeed they are. Those people are my friends, selalu kena dengar I nak cakap apa. UPSR? my UPSR was okay lah for someone yang kurang pintar kan. I have so much memory masa sekolah dekat sini, I was a school prefect and setiap pagi waktu perhimpunan, I'll be that student yang suka nak jawab soalan dekat depan sebab nak menang hadiah. Tapi untuk subject English je lah, subject-subject lain kita kasi can lah dekat orang lain.

Saya dengan nombor ni memang tak pernah berbaik pun since sekolah rendah, Cikgu Adam was one of the most garang punya cikgu Math and I think cikgu Math semua memang garang-garang kot. Plus selalu kena rotan dengan dia sebab tak siap kerja Math. Dah lah tak pandai, malas buat kerja sekolah pula kan. Sesuai lah pengawas asyik kena rotan tak siap kerja sekolah.
Masa sekolah sini pun saya aktif dengan badan beruniform which was pengakap. Selalu pergi camping and all sebab I was so into meeting new people and do things like jungle trekking and what not. Malam kebudayaan semua tu sebab I was that kid masa umur-umur macam tu. I love to be in front of people to perform and act ke apa ke. I'm still like that today cuma malu tu lebih lah, maybe people nowadays are very judgmental kot so bila nak perform ke berlakon ke jadi takut kena kecam. Dulu masa kecik bila orang kecam pun tak rasa apa sebab budak kan.
So yeah, those are the things yang saya rindu sangat-sangat masa sekolah di Sekolah Kebangsaan Astana Raja. Where my fellow SKAR-ians at?
P/S: Pernah berlakon jadi Mahsuri masa malam kebudayaan pengakap. Paling cantik agaknya masa tu. Haha
