This is classic Adam Sandler and I love how this movie is not one of the movie where Adam doing all the slapstick jokes. Murder Mystery is a movie that we are familiar with and I can say after watching so many investigation movies like this, the story is kinda predictable. I guess that is why this is a Netflix movie instead.
So the story began after the Spitz (Jennifer Aniston & Adam Sandler) went to Europe for their long awaited honeymoon and was invited by Charles Cavendish (Luke Evans) to his family gathering on a yacht. Where Charles's uncle was murdered before he got to sign his will. Everyone onboard the yacht were declared as suspects including the Spitz. Other suspects are Charles's ex-fiance Suzi (Shiori Kutsuna), an actress Grace Ballard (Gemma Arterton), Charles's cousin Tobias Quince (David Walliams), F1 racer Juan Carlos (Luis Gerardo Mendez), Maharajah Vikram Govindan (Adeel Akhtar), Colonel Ulenga (John Kani), & Sergei Radjenko (Ólafur Darri Ólafsson).
Audrey Spitz who is very into murder mystery kind of books find this whole situation like a dream comes true and with the help of her husband, they both try to solve this Murder Mystery. For me this is the kind of movie that you would want to watch during your free time or when you want to have a good laugh. I really enjoyed the humor even though I already knew who the killer is(are) from the moment the Billionaire was killed.
I'll give this movie a 3.5/5 stars.
P/S: Still waiting for Pose season 2!!!
