Last week was liberating in many ways. It was the first time I feel like I'm finally done with my last relationship, officially done with shitty people and I finally got the hold of myself and be the person I'm supposed to be. I love how positive my 2020 has been so far and I look forward for more great news and liberation to come!
So let's recap what happened last week.
Sunday (26th January 2020)
I'm back in Rembau for CNY holiday and it was boring as hell yall. Nothing much to do when you're in Rembau unless you got some friends that you can hangout with. Most of my friends are outside Rembau and the one here is busy working. So yeah.
Monday (27th January 2020)
Mom cooked some Gulai Payuh Salai and also Petai Goreng Berlada and yall know I have to bring them back to KL for dinner. I drove back to KL early because I still haven't fixed my car lights yet because it was CNY and all the workshops were closed for business. I realized my mom packed the food for two people and I know why but that was history so I got to eat more for dinner. My Monday was kinda boring as well because it was already late when I arrived so I decided to just have my dinner and go to sleep early.
Tuesday (28th January 2020)
I'm still in my CNY break. So I went out and do some shopping. I haven't buy anything for myself for so long and I forgot how fun it was like. I got myself a new pair of shoes and also two shirts. Nothing fancy but at least I got a new kicks to wear. Plus I got to indulge myself with the ever delicious Korean Bento at Avenue K. I mean it is my go to meal whenever I'm at Avenue K. So you know where to bring me for our date now okay?
Wednesday (29th January 2020)
First day at work and I was feeling okay. Usually I don't feel like going to work after a long break but this time around, I feel a bit excited? I don't know, maybe because I have so much to share with my fav colleague. I was at Kidxy for a while and later I went to LinDees. Yall know how I love working at LinDees. Got a coffee date after work and we went to this cafe in Plaza Mont Kiara called What's On Tap. I had one of the most delicious Valrhona Chocolate drink and it was sweet as hell (because I put all the marshmallows in). It was nice meeting new people you know, I feel like I should do this full time and just get to know more peeple because some of them have a very interesting story to share. (Should I write a book about the people I've met?)
Thursday (30th January 2020)
There's no interesting movies for me to watch this week so I decided to just have my Netflix marathon and finished off my Sex Education season 2. I was at LinDees today and they served Vegan food for lunch, I ain't complaining because it tasted good but they should've more veges instead of just a potato. Well I had another date today and it was an interesting one as well. Someone who never been in a relationship and was looking for someone compatible. This time, I'm the one who did the most talking because I was asked about or how it feels like being in a relationship. It was more like a sharing session instead of a date. Hope it was a fruitful session though.
Friday (31st January 2020)
Thank God it's Friday. I completed almost everything earlier today and I got nothing to do after lunch. So I decided to do some research for my project. I'm still looking for the right fabric for my #METRaya look, I mean I already have the designs ready but I'm just having problem in finding the suitable fabric. I've asked around and it was expensive as hell, I'm not gonna take those expensive fabric and sew on my own. I never worked with expensive fabric and I'm no professional to work with one. I rather get scraps and turn it into something wearable than destroy expensive fabrics. NO! Plus I had a dinner date after work and it was fun. One of the cutest I've went out so far.
Saturday (1st February 2020)
I got up early like always but this time it is because I got another date. Yes 4 dates in a week? What am I? Desperate? Hell no! I'm just excited to expand my horizon and options. It was a fun date I would say but not expecting anything serious because I know how the game is played. So as much as I feel that this person could be the one, I'm still open for other options. After the date, I went back to Rembau because my cousin is getting married the next day and my mom being a typical mom, asked me to come and go to the wedding because she said that if I don't come, no one will be coming to my wedding. Like I'm gonna get married mom.
Well that's what I meant when I said last week was liberating. 4 dates and I got my work done in time. It was such a good feeling to know that there are still people want to date me and I'm still have my groove in getting things done. Hopefully next week is going to be even better? Amen!
P/S: Getting jiggy with it.
