Foodgasm: Meet Sun

Meet Sun: An OOTD Spot Disguised as an Eatery

So, I recently visited this Korean eatery called "Meet Sun" in Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Spoiler alert: if you're looking for a place to dazzle your Instagram followers, this is your spot. If you're hunting for a culinary experience, though, maybe keep scrolling.

Let's start with the obvious: the aesthetics. Meet Sun is decked out in all the trendy decor you could dream of. Think pastel tones, cute wall art, and perfectly placed neon signs. It's like walking into an influencer's dream. If I were rating based on photo ops alone, this place would be a solid 10/10.

Now, onto the food. Or should I say, the okay food? We went for the hotpot because, well, why not? The seafood was fresh enough, and the fried chicken was... fine. I've had better, but I've also had worse. The real letdown was the soup. Imagine slurping plain water, and you've pretty much got the idea. Thank god for the kimchi, or it would have been a complete disaster.

Portion-wise, it's decent. But the taste just wasn't there. And paying almost RM100 for two people felt like a bit of a stretch, especially since we didn't order anything else but the hotpot. Maybe the other dishes are better? I have no clue, and honestly, I’m not sure I care enough to find out.

In summary, Meet Sun might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for some cute pics. But if you're after a satisfying Korean meal, you might want to look elsewhere. If you do decide to go, maybe try something other than the hotpot. Just a suggestion.
