Thank God For Kind Hearted People!

Some days, I feel like the only thing keeping me sane in this place is the good people around me. It’s funny and, honestly, a bit sad how the higher-ups can make you doubt yourself so deeply, yet your peers see you clearly. They see your effort, your passion, your talent… and they try their best to keep you grounded when everything else is trying to shake you.

After working as a social media manager for years, I’ve never been this gaslit into believing I’m suddenly “not good enough.” Not when I’ve literally proven what I can do. Not when one of my ideas was used on a national level, which, let’s be real, is huge. But somehow, now I’m being questioned? Now I’m being made to feel like I’m not worthy?

But then there are the people who bring me back to myself. The ones who remind me of my strengths even when I forget them. Ayin, Apek, Azidee, and Amal, the A-team I didn’t even realize I had until today. No wonder they’ve all been Awesome from day one. Grade ‘A’ colleagues who have been my rock, my sanity, and my safe space since the moment we met.

I’m truly grateful for all of you. I hope our connection doesn’t end here, because people like you deserve to be kept close. Thank you for being the calm in my chaos, and for reminding me who I am when the world tries to tell me otherwise.
