Tuesday Tea: Blog Updates
A Roster Refresh: Introducing "Movie Review Encore" Tuesdays! 🎬🍿
Hey everyone! Hope you're having an awesome week.
If you’ve been hanging out around here for a while, you know that Movie Review Friday is one of my absolute favorite days of the week. But over the last few months, I hit a slight logistical dilemma with how I cover films on the blog.
Right now, my Friday reviews are almost exclusively focused on new releases I watch in movie theaters. And honestly? Some weeks I end up watching multiple movies at the cinema!
When that happens, I usually throw together a double-feature review post on Friday. But cramming two big cinema releases into one post started feeling a bit crowded—and to be completely real with you guys, it isn't great for SEO or giving each film the individual spotlight it deserves.
Plus, what about all the incredible (or hilariously bad) movies I stream at home, or older hidden gems I’m discovering for the first time?
What’s Changing on Tuesdays?
To give myself room to talk about all the films I'm watching without overloading Fridays, we are giving Tuesday a quick upgrade!
Moving forward, Tuesdays will rotate between three distinct topics based on what's hottest that week:
Entertainment Tea / Pop Culture ☕
Latest Tech & Gadgets 📱
Movie Review Encore 🎬 (NEW!)
What is "Movie Review Encore"?
Think of Movie Review Encore as the home for everything outside current theatrical runs. This is where I’ll be dropping dedicated reviews for:
🔥 Hits and new releases straight from streaming platforms (Netflix, Apple TV+, Prime, etc.)
📼 Older classics and hidden gems I’ve just watched for the first time
🎟️ Theatrical movies I missed in cinemas but finally caught up on at home
As a total film enthusiast who has been devouring movies lately, I am so excited to launch this. It means more movie talk, better-focused reviews, and way more recommendations for your weekend watchlist.
We will officially kick off Movie Review Encore in November!
