Alhamdulillah, we’re officially one month into 2026 (sort of), and I can finally say this with a calm heart—things feel… good. After the overwhelming second half of 2025 that I had to endure, this quiet sense of stability feels like a blessing I don’t take lightly. I pray to God that this smooth sailing continues, InsyaAllah.
What’s Done
The biggest update so far is starting a new job as a Senior Marketing Executive at a clothes factory. I don’t want to jinx anything, but it genuinely feels promising. The boss is serious about revamping the business, and knowing myself, I thrive in spaces where ideas are welcomed—even the crazy, slightly stupid ones. Surprisingly (and thankfully), he’s been very open to everything I’ve shared so far.
One moment that truly caught me off guard was when I casually mentioned that I love making my own baju raya. Instead of brushing it off, he told me I could explore that here one day and even expand the business into ready-to-wear clothing. I mean… what?
That conversation alone felt like a quiet answered prayer. Alhamdulillah. If everything goes well, I might finally be on the path toward starting my own clothing line—something I’ve been dreaming about for years. Slowly, little by little, it feels like God has been listening.
What’s Next
Moving forward, I want to focus on upskilling, especially in social media marketing. Most of my experience comes from being self-taught and learning on the job—which has served me well—but I’ve come to realise that experience alone can sometimes be misleading. Something may feel right, but that doesn’t always mean it is right.
So this year, I want to invest in certified courses, sharpen my skills properly, and back my experience with credentials. And yes, let’s be honest—so I can confidently demand a better salary too.
Here’s to an amazing year ahead. I’m entering 2026 with hope, gratitude, and a quieter kind of ambition. InsyaAllah, things will only get better from here.
Amin 🤍
