What’s Done, What’s Next (WDWN): September 2026 Recap & October Game Plan
The final Monday of September has arrived, which means we’re officially stepping into the spooky month of the year, hello, Spook-tober! Looking back, September might not have felt like a massive overhaul on paper, but it turned out to be a surprisingly productive, grounded, and rewarding month.
Here is a look back at what got done this past month, followed by what I’m gearing up for in October!
What’s Done (September Recap)
Biting the Bullet & Winning at Work: Career-wise, things started moving in the right direction! Cold emails and outreach finally paid off, I managed to score a meeting with a private school chain to present our product. On top of that, I optimized our Meta Ads strategy, cutting down ad spend while keeping lead volume steady (and sometimes even higher than before).
Monin Cup 2026 Coverage: Got the chance to cover the Monin Cup 2026! It was such a vibe watching top bartenders from 10 Asia-Pacific countries battle it out for a spot at the World Cup in France.
Car Loan Fully Settled: Yeay! I officially received the release letter for my car. It officially belongs to me now and not the bank anymore, one less debt weight on my shoulders!
Protecting My Peace & Weekly IG Updates: I finally started updating my Instagram weekly again. Honestly, this was something I desperately needed to do because I felt myself on the edge of relapsing. While I won't pretend everything is suddenly 100% perfect, filling my free time with creative outlets gives me something fun to look forward to every weekend.
Tagging Along for Event Setups: Followed Feyy to help out with wedding and event setups, which felt like such a nice treat. It was a great way to step outside my usual routine, meet new faces, and just socialize.
What’s Next (October Outlook)
Riding the Career Momentum: With the private school chain meeting on the horizon and optimized ad campaigns running smoothly, October will be all about converting these leads and keeping the sales traction high.
Staying Consistent with Content & Outings: Keeping up with the weekly Instagram updates, staying active over the weekends, and ensuring my mental health stays guarded as we head into the last quarter of the year.
Spooky Season Vibes: Welcoming October with high energy, keeping this good momentum going, and building up to close out 2026 with a bang!
Signing Off for September: Small Wins Add Up
All in all, September was a solid reminder that progress doesn't always have to be loud to be meaningful. Between clearing off my car loan, seeing real payoff in my work outreach, and taking active steps to protect my mental space, I’m feeling pretty good about where things are heading.
