What's The Tea: Global All Stars Is Upon Us

As an ardent fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, I have to admit that the plethora of franchises has left me feeling a tad overwhelmed. However, the upcoming season of RuPaul's Drag Race Global All-Stars has reignited my excitement and anticipation.

There's something undeniably thrilling about this new format. While it's true that the numerous franchises have saturated the drag race landscape, the concept of Global All-Stars feels like a refreshing and much-needed evolution. Instead of continuously introducing new different formats of All-Stars seasons why not have each franchise host its own All-Stars season and then send their crème de la crème to compete on the grandest stage of all? This Global All-Stars season is poised to be the ultimate Drag Olympic showdown, where one queen from each franchise gets the chance to earn global recognition and truly take over the mother-tucking world.

With the introduction of Global All-Stars, it's time to bid farewell to the "Vs the World" format. Now, we have a platform that brings together the best of the best from each franchise, creating a competition that is more prestigious and compelling than ever before.

For this inaugural season of Global All-Stars, my top three queens are Alyssa Edwards, Pythia, and Athena Likis. Alyssa Edwards, with her charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, is always a force to be reckoned with. Pythia's unique and avant-garde approach to drag is sure to captivate audiences, and Athena Likis's fierce performance skills make her a strong contender. I can't wait to see these queens bring their A-game to the global stage.

While I'm eagerly anticipating this season, I do hope that future iterations will feature a more diverse cast, including queens from Drag Race Thailand, España, and Holland. Their absence in this season is certainly felt, and their inclusion would only elevate the competition to new heights.
