Another week of watching Netflix's movies. So last week, I've watched this action comedy movie Coffee and Kareem. Let's be real, not all Netflix's movie are great and that's probably why they're on Netflix. So this movie is about a cop, James Coffee who had to team up with his girlfriend, Vanessa's son, Kareem Manning to get away from crooks.
I mean this is not something we haven't seen before and in fact it is almost like watching The Hangover. The story begin when Kareem who disapprove of his mom relationship with Coffee and trying to get him killed by hiring some bad guys. Things happened and the tables have turned, now Coffee and Kareem are the target of the bad guys.
Trying to save themselves and Vanessa, the duo went into an adventure of their lifetime. The bad guys got caught and everybody is happy. So as I said earlier, the premise of this movie is familiar and what made me watched is the comedy. Imagine having a foul mouth kid and a nerd policeman, they are bound to go south from the get-go.
So how would I rate this movie? Comedy wise is 3.5/5 Stars and plot wise, I wouldn't rate it. Is it a fun movie to watch? Yes to some but is it something you must watch? Not really, just watch this when you ran out of options. You won't be missing anything anyways. To those who have watched this movie, what do you guys think about it?
